McFarlane Toys gives us our first look at their Wonder Woman 1984 figures

Suffering Sappho! McFarlane Toys has unveiled two new DC Multiverse 7″ Scale Figures based on the upcoming WONDER WOMAN 1984 movie that have Princess Diana looking battle ready and poised to smash the patriarchy to pieces. The first figure features Wonder Woman in her standard costume, while the second displays the warrior princess in her ceremonial Gold Armor, a look that she first sported in the pages of Kingdom Come #3, circa 1996.

Each of the figures will have 22 points of articulation and will come complete with figure stands, accessories, and a collectible trading card for you hardcore fans. You'll find the details for each figure below.

Fast forward to the 1980s as Wonder Woman’s next big screen adventure finds her facing an all-new foe: The Cheetah.  Principal photography is underway on Warner Bros. Pictures’ follow up to the Super Hero’s first outing, last summer’s record-breaking “Wonder Woman,” which took in $822 million at the worldwide box office.  “Wonder Woman 1984” will also be helmed by acclaimed director Patty Jenkins, and star Gal Gadot in the title role.

As previously announced, the film also stars Kristen Wiig in the role of the Super-Villain The Cheetah, as well as Pedro Pascal.  And Chris Pine returns as Steve Trevor.

Charles Roven, Deborah Snyder, Zack Snyder, Patty Jenkins, Stephen Jones and Gal Gadot are producing the film.  Rebecca Roven Oakley, Richard Suckle, Wesley Coller, Geoff Johns and Walter Hamada are the executive producers.

When Wonder Woman returns to theaters, Diana's newest tale of action and adventure during a time of neon leggings and hair metal will find her matching wits with Maxwell Lord (Pedro Pascal), the executive of a major corporation who'll stop at nothing to preside over an unassuming public. While navigating Lord's nefarious schemes, the Goddess of Truth will also trade sharpened swipes with Barbara Ann Minerva (Kristen Wiig), who in time is transformed into the feisty feline foe Cheetah. New challenges await the warrior princess as she confronts a brave new era controlled by media, music, and a megalomaniac on the rise.

WONDER WOMAN 1984 will open in theaters on June 5th.
