In recent weeks, we've seen the reveal that Zack Snyder's JUSTICE LEAGUE would be debuting on HBO Max next year, which has also led to fans calling for David Ayer's original vision for SUICIDE SQUAD to be seen as well. During a conversation on Twitter in which Ayer laid out just how different his initial cut of SUICIDE SQUAD was, BIRDS OF PREY director Cathy Yan joined the conversation to offer her condolences.

Reporter/critic Grace Randolph chimed in to say that BIRDS OF PREY underwent "massive" reshoots to replace a "dick pics" storyline. During test-screenings of BIRDS OF PREY, it was rumoured that Cassandra Cain (Ella Jay Basco) had swallowed a diamond which contained Black Mask's (Ewan McGregor) dick pics. It was said that the reshoots eliminated this element and replaced the contents of the diamond with the secrets of a crime family fortune, but Cathy Yan has set the record straight.
