Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Most teenagers find some way to rebel, but few go as far as taking up bounty hunting. Netflix has released a trailer for Teenage Bounty Hunters, a new comedy which stars Maddie Phillips and Anjelica Bette Fellini as 16-year-old fraternal twin sisters Sterling and Blair Wesley. Growing weary of their uptight Southern community, the twins team up with Bowser Jenkins (Kadeem Hardison), a veteran bounty hunter who reluctantly helps them to refine their craft. Cue teenage hormones, shotguns, and frozen yogurt. Teenage Bounty Hunters was created by Kathleen Jordan, who also wrote and co-executive produced the series, with Orange is the New Black creator Jenji Kohan also serving as an executive producer.

The official synopsis for Teenage Bounty Hunters:

Rebelling against their buttoned-up Southern community, sixteen-year-old fraternal twin sisters Sterling (Maddie Phillips) and Blair (Anjelica Bette Fellini) Wesley team up with veteran bounty hunter Bowser Jenkins (Kadeem Hardison) for an over-the-top adventure as they dive into the world of bail skipping baddies and suburban secrets while trying to navigate high school drama — love, sex, and study hall.

Teenage Bounty Hunters will debut on Netflix on August 14, 2020.
