Although we've seen more comic-book movies over the past two decades that we ever thought possible, there are still plenty that have been stuck in development hell for a number of years. One of those projects is a feature-film based upon Justice League Dark, the superhero team consisting of DC's more occult characters, such as John Constantine, Deadman, Swamp Thing, Zatanna, Madame Xanadu, Shade, the Changing Man, and more. Directors such as Guillermo del Toro and Doug Liman have been attached to JUSTICE LEAGUE DARK at various periods over the years, only to depart the project, but each attempt at the film generated a lot of concept art.

Houston Sharp, who has worked as a concept artist for WONDER WOMAN, TOMB RAIDER, RAMPAGE, DARK PHOENIX, and more, revealed a few pieces of concept art for the JUSTICE LEAGUE DARK when the project was in the hands of Doug Liman. Included are a couple of looks at Swamp Thing, as well as a NSFW look at Constantine being interrupted in the midst of a little sexercism by Klarion, the corpse of a boy possessed by flies. Check 'em out below!

Although JUSTICE LEAGUE DARK may not be gracing the big-screen anytime soon, the project will take the form of an HBO Max TV series that will be executive produced by J.J. Abrams.
