LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga trailer pushes release back to 2021

I'm not the biggest gamer in the world, but my friends always joke that I'm a sucker for anything tossed in the LEGO universe, and that's absolutely true. I've got such fond memories of playing the original LEGO Star Wars video-games that the upcoming LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga feels like it's been made just for me. The video-game will allow you to play through all nine films in the Skywalker Saga as you "experience fun-filled adventures, whimsical humor, and the freedom to fully immerse yourself in the LEGO Star Wars universe like never before." A new gameplay trailer for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has been released, which is full of cinematic moments and LEGO-style humor. Check it out above!

While it was previously expected that LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga would be released later this year, the game has now been pushed back to a Spring 2021 release, where it will be available on Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. Those who spring for the Deluxe Edition of the game will receive a "Character Collection Bundle" that comes with six DLC character packs inspired by ROGUE ONE, SOLO, The Mandalorian, Star Wars: The Bad Batch, and more. The physical version will also come with a collectible Luke Skywalker with Blue Milk LEGO minifigure; Additionally, the packaging is just cool.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will be released on Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X in Spring 2021. If your taste in Star Wars leans more towards space combat, then the upcoming Star Wars: Squadrons might be the right choice to scratch that Star Wars itch. The game is slated to be released on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 2, 2020.
