Bryan Cranston helps wage a war of attrition in new Your Honor trailer

All rise for Showtime's new trailer for Your Honor, a ten-part miniseries starring Bryan Cranston that shows what happens when an ill-advised cover-up places a father and son in the crosshairs of a notorious crime family.

Executive produced by THE GOOD FIGHT duo Robert and Michelle King and THE NIGHT OF's Peter Moffat, Your Honor is a legal thriller that rips through all strata of New Orleans society. Bryan Cranston stars as a respected judge whose son Adam (Hunter Doohan) is involved in a hit-and-run that leads to a high-stakes game of lies, deceit, and impossible choices.

In addition to leading the series, Cranston also executive produces. The series was adapted from the Israeli series Kvodo, created by Ron Ninio and Shlomo Mashiach, which is produced by Ram Landes. Moffat acts as showrunner for YOUR HONOR, in addition to writing several episodes and executive producing.

Starring alongside Cranston for Showtime's upcoming drama is Michael Stuhlbarg as crime boss Jimmy Baxter, with Sofia Black D’Elia, Carmen Ejogo, Isiah Whitlock Jr., and Hope Davis also set to light up the screen as major players of a most dangerous game. Additionally, Margo Martindale plays Senator Elizabeth Guthrie, the mother of the deceased wife of Cranston’s Michael Desiato, while Amy Landecker, Lilli Kay, Tony Curran, Keith Machekanyanga, Lamar Johnson, and Benjamin Flores, Jr. also appear as a part of the spiraling saga.

The latest trailer for Your Honor takes us deeper into the maze-like rabbit hole dug by Desiato's desire to keep his son out of harm's way. The problem with that is sometimes one lie gives way to another, and then another, and another after that. Pretty soon you'll find that you've created a situation of which you can never hope to escape unscathed. Will Desiato's actions cost him more than his integrity and the safety of his son? We'll find out when Your Honor arrives on Showtime this December.
