David O. Russell typically puts together an impressive ensemble for his movies, and it's looking as though his latest film will be no exception — in fact, it might be the director's most star-studded cast to date.
While we still don't know much about what David O. Russell has in store for us with his new film, Deadline has reported that Robert De Niro (The Irishman), Anya Taylor-Joy (The Queen's Gambit), Mike Myers (Bohemian Rhapsody), Timothy Olyphant (The Mandalorian), Michael Shannon (Knives Out), Chris Rock (Fargo), Andrea Riseborough (Possessor), Matthias Schoenaerts (Red Sparrow), and Alessandro Nivola (The Many Saints of Newark) has joined a cast that already includes Christian Bale (Thor: Love & Thunder), Margot Robbie (The Suicide Squad), John David Washington (Tenet), Rami Malek (No Time to Die), and Zoe Saldana (Avatar 2). Damn, Russell, save some stars for the rest of Hollywood. Production on the film is currently underway in California based on an original idea from Russell. This will mark the director's first film since Joy back in 2015, which starred Jennifer Lawrence as Joy Mangano, a self-made millionaire who created her own business empire.
