Jaws soundtrack hits vinyl via Mondo this October

I don't know if you're into the whole vinyl thing. I'm not, but I totally understand the fascination. I'm into collecting LaserDiscs myself. I consider them MY vinyl collection. It's a pretty sweet collection I've got going, and I must say (true, dude story) it has gotten me a fair share of tail. Strange but true.

Anyhow, turns out Mondo is going to be releasing a new vinyl pressing of John Williams' ultra classic score to Steven Spielberg's masterpiece JAWS. I don't know all of the lingo associated with vinyl like what the hell this and that inch-pressing means, so you can check out all the details and more in the link below.

JAWS vinyl rundown via Mondo:

One of the finest achievements in film music and quite possibly the most iconic score of all time, John Williams’ score to JAWS is an absolute essential for soundtrack collectors. While the Grammy-winning 1975 MCA album was a re-recording, Mondo’s 2XLP set presents the entire Academy Award-winning score as composed and recorded for the actual film in its first-ever vinyl release. Album co-producer Mike Matessino restored, edited and mixed the music from the original studio elements for the best possible quality, approved by the composer himself.
