XLrator Media, IndustryWorks Studios, and Motorcycle Boy Productions will be giving writer/director Rusty Nixon's noir-style supernatural horror film RESIDUE an iTunes and VOD release next Tuesday, July 18th, and today we have an EXCLUSIVE clip from the film that offers a glimpse of the torment the characters will be put through by demonic entities.

Starring James Clayton, Matt Frewer, William B. Davis, Michael Matic, Costas Mandylor, Taylor Hickson, and Elysia Rotaru, RESIDUE has the following synopsis:

Private investigator Luke Harding (Clayton) reads a book of sinister origins owned by seedy crime lord Mr. Fairweather (Frewer). Unbeknownst to Luke, the book is a much sought after supernatural artifact and Fairweather's greatest rival, the enigmatic Mr. Lamont (Davis), begins pursuit of Luke with his trustiest henchmen Boston (Matic) & Jacob (Mandylor). While the criminal underworld is desperate to retrieve the book and harness its power for their own dark agendas, it's evil begins to take root in Luke's apartment; pitting himself, his daughter (Hickson) and his secret love Monica (Rotaru) in a fight for their lives… and their eternal souls.

Check out the clip below and decide if RESIDUE is going to be added to your viewing list next week.

Personally, I was sold as soon as I saw Matt Frewer on the cast list. I grew up watching him in things like Max Headroom, HONEY, I SHRUNK THE KIDS, and THE STAND, and I'll gladly follow him through a demon-filled noir film as well.

The clip from RESIDUE runs for 1 minute and 54 seconds. The video then segues into a clip from another July 18th release, BONEJANGLES. So this actually offers a preview of two separate movies:
