Final 2 Alien short films Alien: Alone & Alien: Harvest unleashed!

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

To celebrate Alien's 40th anniversary, Tongal in partnership with 20th Century Fox released a new Alien-universe fan-made short film leading up to Alien Day aka TODAY. The shorts were released on a weekly basis and we've already seen Chris Reading's ALIEN: CONTAINMENT, Kelsey Taylor's ALIEN: SPECIMEN, Aidan Brezonick's ALIEN: NIGHT SHIFT, and the Spear Sisters' ALIEN: ORE. And today we have the final two ALIEN short films to share with you guys, writer-director Noah Miller's ALIEN: ALONE, which follows:

Hope, an abandoned crewmember aboard the derelict chemical hauler Otranto, has spent a year trying to keep her ship and herself alive as both slowly fall apart. After discovering hidden cargo, she risks it all to power up the broken ship in search of human life.

And Benjamin Howdeshell's ALIEN: HARVEST, which centers on:

The surviving crew of a damaged deep-space harvester have minutes to reach the emergency evacuation shuttle. A motion sensor is their only navigation tool leading them to safety while a creature in the shadows terrorizes the crew. However, the greatest threat might have been hiding in plain sight all along.

Fox and Tongal went through more than 550 submissions from online filmmakers to pick the six that they felt would be the best stories to celebrate ALIEN with. You can check out the full short films below and then make sure to hit us up and let us know what you think! The shorts will be added, along with exclusive behind-the-scenes content, to AlienUniverse.com and the AlienAnthology social media profiles on May 5th.
