Linda Hamilton returns to her THE TERMINATOR / TERMINATOR 2: JUDGMENT DAY role of Sarah Connor in the upcoming sequel TERMINATOR: DARK FATE – a fact you have surely noticed if you have seen the marketing for the film up to this point, because Sarah Connor has been the primary focus. Paramount Pictures is obviously betting that Hamilton is going to bring in viewers who might not have been so enthusiastic about TERMINATOR 3, SALVATION, or GENISYS.

Sarah is again the focus in the latest DARK FATE image to be released. The film's official Twitter account shared a shot of the character taking a break on a bench while smoke billows in the background.

Directed by DEADPOOL's Tim Miller from a screenplay by David S. Goyer, Justin Rhodes, and Billy Ray, TERMINATOR: DARK FATE doesn't have an official synopsis available, but we do know that the film is only acknowledging the events of the first two movies.

Franchise creator James Cameron has come back to the series to produce this new movie alongside David Ellison, and also crafted the story with Goyer, Rhodes, Charles Eglee, and Josh Friedman.

Hamilton's co-stars include Arnold Schwarzenegger as a bearded T-800, Natalia Reyes as heroine Dani, Diego Boneta as Dani's brother, Gabriel Luna as a Terminator, and Mackenzie Davis as "soldier-assassin from the future" Grace. Brett Azar and Jude Collie served as CGI stand-ins for a younger Schwarzenegger and Edward Furlong, respectively, for the filming of scenes that take place during the time of T2.

TERMINATOR: DARK FATE is set to be released on November 1st.
