Investigation 13 trailer searches for the legendary Mole Man

A trailer has been released online for director Krisstian de Lara's upcoming film INVESTIGATION 13, which will be receiving a Digital and DVD release courtesy of Uncork'd Entertainment on September 10th. The trailer is embedded below, and might be of special interest to fans of the slasher subgenre.

Described as a "mesmerizingly unnerving" "new-age fright-fest", INVESTIGATION 13 tells its story by blending "traditional narrative storytelling (with) numerous forms of pioneering technology, including found footage, hand-held cameras, surveillance cameras, and smart glasses". That story centers on 

a group of college science students investigating the urban legend of The Mole Man, an ex-patient said to still be residing within the walls of the Black Grove Asylum. When members of the group start missing, they soon learn that this myth is more real than they thought, making this 13th investigation one they will come to regret.

The trailer gives away the fact that the students do manage to locate The Mole Man, who turns out to be a blade-wielding madman and proceeds to slash his way through the investigators. Now that's entertainment.
