THE HAUNTING OF HILL HOUSE Season 2 will be called The Haunting of Bly Manor and will be an adaptation of Henry James’ The Turn of the Screw. Flanagan recently teased this new season is "going to be unbelievably scary" and is already "much scarier than season one." Bring it on!

Meanwhile, Flanagan's take on The Haunting of Hill House is described as a "modern reimagining" of Jackson's novel. The story centers on

a group of siblings who, as children, grew up in what would go on to become the most famous haunted house in the country. Now adults, and forced back together in the face of tragedy, the family must finally confront the ghosts of their past — some of which still lurk in their minds while others may actually be stalking the shadows of Hill House.

Mike Flanagan directed all 10 episodes of the first season of The Haunting of Hill House. The cast includes Michiel Huisman, Carla Gugino, Henry Thomas, Elizabeth Reaser, Kate Siegel, Timothy Hutton, Annabeth Gish, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Victoria Pedretti, Mckenna Grace, Violet McGraw, Lulu Wilson, Paxton Singleton, and Julian Hilliard. It hits Blu-ray and DVD from Paramount Home Entertainment on October 15, 2019
