Blumhouse and director David Gordon Green's new HALLOWEEN movie HALLOWEEN KILLS began shooting recently. We've already seen looks at Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode on the set of the new film as well as a look at Charles Cyphers' return as Sheriff Leigh Brackett and Kyle Richards' return as Lindsey Wallace. And today we have an update via Jason Blum himself that let's us know about some stabbing business on the set.

The current cast includes the return of Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode along with Judy Greer as Laurie's daughter Karen and Andi Matichak as Laurie's granddaughter Allyson. Anthony Michael Hall joins them as adult Tommy Doyle along with Kyle Richards as adult Lindsey Wallace. Jibrail Nantambu is back as young Julian with Robert Longstreet as Lonnie Elam, and Charles Cyphers is rumored to return as Brackett.

Written by David Gordon Green & Danny McBride & Scott Teems, based on characters created by John Carpenter and Debra Hill, HALLOWEEN KILLS will be directed by David Gordon Green and produced by Malek Akkad, Jason Blum, and Bill Block. John Carpenter, Jamie Lee Curtis, Jeanette Volturno, Couper Samuelson, Danny McBride, David Gordon Green, and Ryan Freimann are executive producers. Ryan Turek is overseeing the project for Blumhouse. HALLOWEEN KILLS will be released on October 16, 2020. It is now filming in Wilmington, North Carolina.
