A while back, filmmaker Damien Leone, who introduced us to Art the Clown in the anthology ALL HALLOWS' EVE and the follow-up slasher TERRIFIER, ran an incredibly successful fundraising campaign for TERRIFIER 2. Leone's initial goal was to raise $50,000, but the campaign ended up raising over $215,000. Art the Clown is coming back in a big way.
And when Art does return, he'll be facing off with some cast members who have horror experience going back thirty years and more.
SLEEPAWAY CAMP star Felissa Rose has announced on her Instagram account that she will be in TERRIFIER 2, and while doing so confirmed that the cast also includes Jason Lively of NIGHT OF THE CREEPS and Tamara Glynn of HALLOWEEN 5.
These '80s horror stars will be crossing paths with Art the Clown in a film that tells the following story:
After being resurrected by a sinister entity, Art the Clown returns to Miles County where he must hunt down and destroy a teenage girl and her younger brother on Halloween night. As the body count rises, the siblings fight to stay alive while uncovering the true nature of Art's evil intent.
David Howard Thornton is reprising the role of Art. Lauren LaVera is the film's lead.
During the fundraising campaign, Leone mentioned that TERRIFIER 2 will feature an epic scene of mass casualties and destruction that will be like
if Art the Clown was in charge of the prom mayhem in Carrie… meets David Lynch… meets Maniac…
