The end of the year is here, which means a whole new slate of movies is about to start. We begin looking forward to the big blockbusters that will start hitting the big screen. The new year always starts off with such promise of what we can expect. Every new year has the opportunity to turn cinema on its head and deliver a variety of tastes. While superheroes have ruled the box office for the last decade, other films like Everything Everywhere All At Once, Barbarian, and The Northman grabbed the audience’s attention. Let’s hope we get similar things this year.
January
M3gan – January 6th
A robotics engineer creates a new doll to be a little girl’s best friend. It begins to display hostile actions that it was not programmed to do. Now everyone could be in danger.
House Party – January 13th
A remake of the classic party movie. A high school student hosts a party while his parents are gone.
A Man Called Otto – January 13th
A certified grump intent on killing himself makes friends with his new young neighbors and changes his life.
Missing – January 23rd
A sequel/follow-up to the 2018 film Searching. A girl tries to find out what happened to her parents while they were on vacation. Told through multiple screen views.
Shotgun Wedding – January 27th
During their destination wedding, criminals take over the island. It’s up to the bride and groom to save their families.
You People – January 27th
Jonah Hill and Eddie Murphy star. Examining the generational differences between a young couple and her parents.
February
Knock At The Cabin – February 3rd
An adaptation of the Paul Tremblay novel. M. Night Shyamalan directs this story about a family that has a group of visitors. They tell them that one has to die, or the world will end.
80 For Brady – February 3rd
A group of life-long friends wants to attend the Super Bowl and meet Tom Brady.
Magic Mike’s Last Dance – February 10th
Mike is taking the stage one last time as Selma Hayek joins him on screen.
Sharper – February 10th
A con artist takes on Manhattan’s billionaires.
Your Place Or Mine? – February 10th
Two long-distance best friends change each other’s lives when she decides to pursue a lifelong dream, and he volunteers to keep an eye on her teenage son.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania – February 17th
Ant-Man and family get pulled into the Quantum Realm, where they face off against an all-new foe in Kang.
Cocaine Bear – February 24th
The animal attacks movie that has taken the internet by storm will be hitting the big screen. A bear gets into a lost package of cocaine and goes on a rampage.

Michael B. Jordan directs the third outing for Adonis Creed as he has to fight a friend from his past who felt he was left behind.
Scream VI – March 10th
Ghostface follows the survivors of the last film to New York City.
65 – March 17th
An astronaut from another planet lands on Earth millions of years ago and finds out he may not be alone.
Shazam: Fury Of The Gods – March 17th
Billy Batson and his adopted family return to fight against bad guys while also trying to juggle their lives as teenagers.
John Wick: Chapter 4 – March 24th
John Wick returns to take on the High Table to hopefully earn his freedom.
Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves – March 31
A group uses their skills to steal a magic relic. This unknowingly unleashes a great evil, and they must stop it.
April
The Super Mario Bros. Movie – April 7th
The famous plumbers come to the big screen and face off against Bowser as he tries to take over the Mushroom Kingdom.
Renfield – April 14th
The tale of Dracula is once again told but from the point of view of his faithful servant Renfield. Nic Cage plays Dracula.
Salem’s Lot – April 21st
Adaptation of the Stephen King Novel. A writer returns to his hometown and begins being overrun by vampires.
Evil Dead Rise – April 27th
The Necronomicon finds its way to an apartment building as two sisters have to fight off throngs of deadites.

Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 – May 5th
James Gunn’s final Guardians of the Galaxy hits as the group tries to find the time-displaced Gamora on what could be their final ride together.
Fast X – May 19th
The next entry in the Fast and The Furious series is here. It is assumed Vin Diesel will drive a car really fast and say something about ‘family’.
The Little Mermaid – May 26th
Disney live-action remake of their animated film about a mermaid that trades her voice for a pair of legs to find the man she falls in love with.
June
Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse – June 2nd
Miles is the one pulled across the Spider-Verse as the Multiverse needs saving from a new villain.
Strays – June 9th
An abandoned dog teams up with other strays to get revenge on his former owner.
Transformers: Rise Of The Beasts – June 9th
Based on the Beast Wars version of Transformers. The Autobots meet the new animal versions of the Transformers as they face off against a new enemy, Scourge.
The Flash – June 16th
The troubled superhero film finally makes its way to the big screen. Barry Allen has to jump across multiple universes to stop all of existence from being destroyed.
Indiana Jones And The Dial Of Destiny – June 30th
Indiana Jones is back for one last adventure.
July
Insidious: Fear Of The Dark – July 7th
The franchise focuses back on the Lamberts 10 years after Dalton was lost in the further. He is leaving for college and must once again deal with evil forces.
Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning – Part 1 – July 14th
Ethan Hunt is back once again as the world is in danger.
Barbie – July 21st
The famous toy finally gets a live-action movie with Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling as Ken.
Oppenheimer – July 21
The story of the creator of the Atomic Bomb from Christopher Nolan.
The Marvels – July 28th
Heroes from Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel, and WandaVision come together in one outer space adventure.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem – August 4th
The turtles are back in a new CG animated film.
The Meg 2: The Trench – August 4th
Jason Statham returns to once again punch Megladons in the face.
Gran Turismo – August 11th
A teenage Gran Turismo gamer wins numerous competitions to become an actual race car driver. Based on a true story.
Haunted Mansion – August 11th
A movie about the haunted Disney attraction. A single mom buys a mansion that is filled with ghosts. She begins doing anything she can to exorcise them.
Last Voyage Of The Demeter – August 11th
Set during the tale of Dracula, tells of the doomed voyage aboard the ship headed to London from Transylvania.
Blue Beetle – August 18th
DC superhero film about a teenager that finds a scarab that gives him superpowers.
September
The Equalizer 3 – September 1
Denzel Washington returns in the third installment of the film series.
The Nun 2 – September 8th
Sequel to the Conjuring Universe movie The Nun.
The Expendables 4 – September 22
Sylvester Stallone and crew return for another action-packed outing in the franchise.

Kraven The Hunter – October 6th
Spin off of the Spider-Man films. Kraven tries to prove he is the best hunter in the world.
The Exorcist – October 13th
David Gordon Green turns his attention away from the Halloween franchise and looks to a sequel of the original Exorcist.
Saw X – October 27th
Tobin Bell returns to the horror franchise.
November
Dune: Part 2 – November 3rd
Follow up to the film from Denis Villeneuve follows Paul Atreides as he seeks revenge on those that destroyed his family.
The Hunger Games: The Ballad Of Songbirds And Snakes – November 17th
Prequel to the highly successful Hunger Games franchise. Coriolanus Snow mentors and develops feelings for the female District 12 tribute during the 10th Hunger Games.
Trolls 3 – November 17th
Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake reprised their roles in the third entry in the animated series.
December
Wonka – December 15th
A young Willy Wonka meets the Oompa-Loompas for the first time and opens his factory.
The Color Purple – December 20th
A musical adaptation of the famous novel.
