100 Tears picked up

One of the goriest trailers I’ve ever seen came courtesy from a film titled 100 TEARS, and as a result, I’m stoked on seeing this killer clown centered horror film. And today, via a blog on the Official Myspace page, some cool news from the film has found its way here. Apparently the film has signed on with DC-Medias for distribution of the film. Which is great news for people like me who really want to see this film. Also, 100 TEARS will be making an appearance at this years Cannes film festival, but only a new trailer will be shown, as the film is post-production and will likely not be finished until after Cannes.

As I’m sure many of you might not have heard of 100 TEARS, here is the plot for you as it appears off of the Official Myspace page:
Mark (Joe Davison) and Jennifer (Georgia Chris) are two daring tabloid reporters, seeking out a bigger better story, which leads them into the bizzare world of a serial murderer known only as “The Teardrop Killer”. Hot on his bloody trail, they begin to piece together the things that make him tick, eventually finding themselves fighting for their very lives, deep within his cavernous house of horrors.

Unfortunately, the editing on the film is going slow, so no official release date has been announced. But keep checking back here for more updates on this film that is sure to gross me out a few times…if you don’t believe me, just check out the trailer below!
