Why Hollywood has, in recent years, chosen to ignore films centering on giant, man-eating crocodiles terrorizing a select group of people is quite baffling. When did we become jaded against freak reptilian behemoths with a penchant for human flesh? We’re fortunate that WOLF CREEK director Greg McClean was sensitive to this hole in the current Hollywood landscape and has graced us with ROGUE, in which SILENT HILL demon annoyer Radha Mitchell and one-time J.Lo cinematic love muffin Michael Vartan are terrorized by a voracious colossal crocodile. If, like me, you enjoyed the delicious cheese of LAKE PLACID, you’re sure to have a grand ole time with this flick. Check out the trailer courtesy of the folks over at Fangoria HERE. The film’s scheduled for release in October.
