What's your top 100? Jul. 2, 2008
Source: Youtube
by: Ben Barna

Naming my top 100 movies of all time, in order, is impossible. Partly because I've only seen 37 of them, and partly because my memory has been obliterated by Quaaludes. But this guy did it, and he put it all on YouTube in the form of clips, of all his faves, from the bottom up. If you like movies, it's a fun watch. If you don't, then screw you.

Extra Tidbit: I'm very glad UNBREAKABLE was near the top.

I gotta hand it too 'em most of those clips were fairly iconic. Had to do a double-take for #1 though.

Personally, I couldn't put in order my top movies to save my life. And the farther down the line I go, the more interchangeable they get.

COOL CLIP
and a great list as well, but I can never understand people who prefer magnolia over boogie nights. Magnolia is great but Boogie Nights is perfection.

Magnolia is number one. Great choice and great shot to end the clip.

Saw a lot of my own faves in there, but the editing was too fast for my feeble brain to identify 100 in a row.

Anyway, kudos for a guy having the time to put this together. I barely had free time enough to watch it.

NICE
Clearly a fan serious/noir movies. Good selection and nice editing but at least one Bond or and Indy clip wouldn't have hurt?? Where is the iconic Superman flight ?? Anyways very nice.

I wonder which one was after Blow Out and before Philadelphia (I think, because it was Tom Hanks).

It's shown at about 1:00. It's a wide shot of a car screeching and a body being thrown in front of the car. Whew, what a clip!

Lists are always fun. That's why AFI puts them out so often that they're redoing their lists. Would've loved at least a list of the films on this clip though, in case I missed any.
