Wall-E robot action May. 5, 2008
Source: Pixar Blog
by: Omar Aviles

Let's not get salacious with the article's title, please. The robot action in question is an actual Wall-E unit, which we told you about a little while ago, as seen in Pixar's upcoming surefire gem WALL-E, in action in the video below. This little guy's just as adorable as the Wall-E in the film. Check him out below. The animated Wall-E traverses space to rescue his precious Eva on June 27th.

Extra Tidbit: You think Pixar will ever make a movie without John Ratzenberger? Or rather, you think they'll ever give the guy a starring role again rather than just an extended cameo?

GOOD AND BAD
I really want one of these, that is just too good. The only downside I see is that it'll eventually turn on me and kill me (least that's what movies have showed me).

I hope not.

EXTRA TIDBIT:
Pixar and Disney spent SO MUCH money in the development of their true life WALL-E that they neglected to pay their electric bill.

I was hoping John Ratzenberger would get the lead in Up, but Ed Asner got it.

Pixar will always have Ratz in their films. He's their lucky rabbit's foot.

Maybe in the second prototype, Wall-E can not only hold a beer can, but he can fetch one for ya. :)

I really must have this, by the way.

I was considering getting a dog, but I'd rather have one of these following me around. Now if they can just get him to hold a beer can...
