Pretty good top 5 comic list btw. I love both Nolan Batman flicks. So personally I would have them both in there and taken Blade out. But to each their own.

TDK was such a mess in the second half that it's hard to even narrow it down. Ledger's performance was every bit as good as advertised, and Ekhart I thought was equally good as Two-Face, it was just a less flashy role.
That said, how does a man being hunted by an entire police force slip into a hospital filled with a high profile patient and wire the whole thing to explode. Then walk away in broad daylight with no one noticing.
Are we really supposed to buy that a boatload of convicts would let themselves blowup? Or a boatload of non-convicts for that matter?
The Batman voice tweaking was a nearly catastrophic miscalculation.
There may be a way to plan to whole police caravan attack that would make sense, but it would probably take a whole movie to explain, and without explanation as to how it's possible is WAY too much suspenison of disbelief to ask for.
The manipulative editing of the Dawes/Dent situation was confusing, didn't play fair, and ultimately made little sense.
The whole echo radar thing that Batman uses "just this once", is the exact kind of reasoning that a certain administration just finished using to get us into all sorts of worldwide trouble.
The ultimate message of the movie seems to be that people are incapable of inspiring us long term unless we the people are lied to about their true nature. That level of casual cynicism makes me gag.

Exactly BR, it's not REALLY about comics anymore, and had it been less about movies and more about comics, I wouldn't be going.
Besides, I don't HATE comics, I just want to see them all burned in a fire:)

Granted SD is hardly about comics anymore, it's been taken over by Hollywood. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, I guess it's more a Comic Con in name only. Screw it I'll just go to NYC.
Good show nonetheless.
