This is a film I'd love to see, old Sly back with old Kurt, who both having a revival. Let sly direct it and put in an epic crime story, with the two retired, and throw silly bad boys 2 money at it. Hell make it on the cheap and release straight to dvd will do me. So quotable.

lets get stallone, arnie (in a cameo) and bruce "what u talkin' bout" willis together, in a remake of my 3 dads, where they take on evil muscle guys played by jean claude van dammage, the rock, and super secret martial artist pony-tailed guy whose films also had 3 words in the title.
then, the sequel to this could take place in the u.k, where vinnie jones and some brit baddies could kidnap the, screw it, never mind... |

Please, Sly, don't waste your time on a stupid remake of Death Wish. Please, just don't. If you feel the need to remake that movie just remember one thing: Get Carter. Although I actually enjoyed that movie, it did fail both critically and commercially. So if you feel the urge to remake Death Wish, just remember how Get Carter went. |

RAMBO was awesome! It's really a shame that the Governator won't make more movies because these two guys were the two biggest badasses of action flics ever! They should do a movie together and fight each other, or be partners and wreak havoc on someone! Poor bastard. |

After AVP and that DIE HARDEST garbage, RAMBO was an awesome sigh of relief. My friend and I agreed that only the talented Stallone seems to have the motivation, influence, and funds to truly reboot the 80's. I don't think an AVP would tread on Schwarzenegger territory, either, considering that (as of now) that franchise can't touch PREDATOR.
So how about it, Sly? Bring back our favorite movie monsters? To quote my cohort, "the movie should be called, ALIENS VS. PREDATOR: I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF THIS SH*T."

Somewhere, The Arrow is a very happy man right now. Sylvester Stallone has just signed a two-picture deal to produce, star and direct in two films for Nu Image/Millennium, the company behind RAMBO. And lucky for us, because Nu Image/Millennium signed an interim agreement with the WGA, production on the films can begin as soon as Stallone decides on a project. Right now Stallone and producers have not decided what either of the films would be but you can bet another RAMBO offering would certainly be one of the contenders. What you probably won't see if Stallone's rumored Edgar Allen Poe film as these projects were specifically marked as "action films" (though an Edgar Allen Poe action movie would certainly be interesting). One possibility that intrigues me is taking John Rambo into another genre. I heard Stallone mention somewhere (and of course now I can't find it) that he briefly flirted with the idea of doing a sci-fi RAMBO movie. Now would RAMBO VS. PREDATOR be completely insane or would that just be me? Although the original PREDATOR was very much a RAMBO VS. PREDATOR kinda movie. I guess my question to the readers would be whether you'd be interested to see John Rambo hop from a realistic world into a fantasy one or whether that breach of continuity would piss you off royally. And what would you like to see Stallone work on next?
