Many scoops were given out during the
CROW 3 panel held at this year's San Diego Comic Con, as well as a
preview of the film for some of its fans. JoBlo and I were lucky enough
to see the movie and the panel featuring producer Jeff Most and star
Eric Mabius:

Most (producer) said:
- They don’t know when the film will
be out, they’re hoping for fall release. Is there a chance that it
go straight to video? "We certainly hope that is not the
case".
- Box set January 2001 with all three
films on DVD. Here are some of the good stuff you will find on the
DVDs:
All three films, art work, original scripts, conceptual design,
storyboards. And you might also get to see The
Arrow himself talking about The Crow (I was interviewed).
- The new direction they’re taking
with the movie series is that each movie will stand on its own
with no recurring characters. No character from the first two
films returns in Salvation.
- A number of new Crow stories are
currently in development : a female crow / a medieval crow / a hip hop crow (hood
vibe). Announcement on that will come soon.

Mabius (star) said:
- "When Chip tried to tackle the
script for the first time it was everybody’s intention and also
mine to not play a super comic book hero character. When I read the
script I wondered what any one of us would do with that power if it
was given to us. I really wanted to explore the glee and the
childish aspects of the situation."
- He's hoping for a October 30 release.
TV Show
News:
- Starts its first season this Sunday,
July 23 on Sci-Fi, if reruns numbers are good, new episodes will be
made. Mark Dacascos is very enthusiastic about returning to the
show.
