Ryan Reynolds is Buried under heaps of praise in this latest poster for the suspense thriller

Lionsgate sure has done a good job with their marketing materials for the Ryan Reynolds thriller BURIED from Spanish filmmaker Rodrigo Cortés. The posters in particular have been very clever bits of minimalism and Saul Bass-inspired throwback.

The latest one sheet below goes on to make wonderfully effective use of all the positive word the film’s been garnering since Sundance. Seriously, great job to whoever came up with this simple but great concept.

BURIED exhumes itself in limited release on September 24th and then wide on October 8th.

Synopsis: Paul Conroy is not ready to die. But when he wakes up six feet underground with no idea of who put him there or why, life for the truck driver and family man instantly becomes a hellish struggle for survival. Buried with only a cell phone and a lighter, his contact with the outside world and ability to piece together clues that could help him discover his location are maddeningly limited. Poor reception, a rapidly draining battery, and a dwindling oxygen supply become his worst enemies in a tightly confined race against time, fighting panic, despair and delirium, Paul has only ninety minutes to be rescued before his worst nightmare comes true.
