Director Jason Reitman's next film has been revealed by
LatinoReview to be an adaptation of the book UP IN THE AIR by Walter Kirn. Here's the lowdown:
Ryan Bingham’s job as a Career Transition Counselor – he fires people – has kept him airborne for years. Kirn takes on the corporate world's weirdly mystical and paranoid side, its rhetoric of personal empowerment and its messianic devotion to gurus.
After the bad-assery of THANK YOU FOR SMOKING and the major success of JUNO, industry analysts have confirmed Reitman could pitch a movie where he clubs baby raccoons for two hours, and still get a budget in excess of $100 million. When reached for a comment, prominent fashion designer Mugatu said "Jason Reitman. So hot right now."
