Seriously, of all the problems I had with the previous Punisher movie, the biggest was the screenwriter's intent to not take the situation seriously. This looks nothing like the Punisher comic books. This looks more like Batman & Robin guest starring The Punisher.
This has to be the wost trailer I've seen all year. And Frank Castle's retort to 'God be with you'...'I wish I could get my hands on god' has to be one of the stupidest things I've heard in a movie in a long time. It's as if the makers of 'The Marine' did a Punisher sequel. I can see why Thomas Jane wanted nothing to do with this. |

I had high hopes for this one, I really did. I'm a huge Punisher fan, and while the previous two movies in no way did justice to the source material, they were both entertaining flicks in their own right.
This one, though, looks like a freakin' cartoon. If Frank Castle wants to kill somebody, he doesn't do it with acrobatics. He just fucking kills them (in incredibly brutal ways).
Being as this is just the initial trailer (more of a teaser, really), I could be wrong about the film. Hell, I HOPE I'm wrong. As it stands, though, this just don't look like the Punisher. |

As long as this movie hinges on tons of blood and bullets it should work out better then the last one. It's the Punisher, you don't have him in the sunniest place on earth. Give him dark dank and killings. |
