I’m posting the new LOVE GURU trailer having watched it, but not listened to it. There’s a strange German girl I hardly know sleeping in my bed right now (I am not making this up) and I left my headphones at work, hence I cannot pump up the volume. But based on what I saw, no volume, the film looks great. Maybe I just intrinsically trust Myers for the comic genius he is, but the scene where a young Pitka goes to visit the guru played by Sir Ben Kingsley, and we see Myers’ grown up head on a child’s body, is a reminder that no one pulls off the visual gag better than him. I’m betting that even the re-usage of Verne Troyer won’t seem stale. And then there’s Meagan Good. She makes Jessica Alba look like Jessica Alba without makeup.
