Now that BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE is out and everyone has had a chance to see it, arguably some of the most divisive material of the film were glimpses of DCEU material that non-fans know nothing about. We’re talking hints of uber-baddie Darkseid and his parademons, a time/dimension-traveling Flash and intros to some Justice League members. If you enjoyed that material, however, you may find this deleted scene from the film VERY interesting. Take a look!

So what the hell is going on here? Well, fans are already theorizing that this big guy resembles Steppenwolf, an Apokoliptian General and a member of Darkseid’s Elite. As the story in the comics go, Steppenwolf lead an army against Earth in the name of Darkseid during the Apokolips War. He went on to kill Wonder Woman and Superman before finally being defeated by Batman. So is this a hint of what’s to come in the first JUSTICE LEAGUE film, or just something thrown in for comic fans? We’ll have to wait until next year to find out!

THE JUSTICE LEAGUE PART ONE will hit theaters on November 17, 2017.
