Sylvester Stallone Escape Plan 2

Ray Breslin (Sylvester Stallone), a consultant for the Federal Bureau of Prisons, uses his talents to test the efficiency and escapability of America's most secure prisons. The first ESCAPE PLAN film found Breslin framed and incarcerated in The Tomb, an escape-proof prison which was built based on Breslin's ideas, as he orchestrated an escape in an attempt find the person who put him behind bars. Although I enjoyed ESCAPE PLAN for what it was, I wouldn't have expected that we'd be getting a sequel, much less one with some sort of robot playing a role in the film. That worked out so well the last time.

Stallone posted the following video on his Instagram page which shows off cast-members Dave Bautista and Jesse Metcalfe as well as a curious looking robot who Stallone claims will factor into the conclusion of the film. He also revealed the title of the sequel, which appears to be ESCAPE PLAN 2: HADES. Neat.

Joining Sylvester Stallone, Dave Bautista and Jesse Metcalfe in ESCAPE PLAN 2: HADES will be Jaime King, who has signed on to play a female lead, Abigail Ross, as well as Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson who will be reprising his role as Hush. I'm more than okay with the sequel seemingly bumping up the craziness, especially if it leads to bigger and wackier sequels. Looks like Stallone may have another franchise on his hands.

Meanwhile, Sylvester Stallone will next be seen in GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2 on May 5, 2017 where he'll be playing a character who is "very important to the Marvel Universe."
