Rumor: Daredevil & The Defenders to appear in Avengers: Infinity War Part 2

Daredevil Iron Fist Luke Cage Jessica Jones

Although Daredevil has only been available on Netflix for a week, greedy people (such as myself) are already wondering what Marvel's future plans are for The Man Without Fear. We know he'll be teaming up with Luke Cage, Iron Fist and Jessica Jones in the planned The Defenders series, but what about after that?

Sources tell Bleeding Cool that Daredevil and the rest of The Defenders will appear in AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR – PART II. There's no details on how big of a role they will have or why The Defenders won't be in the first film. Some have speculated that their big screen appearance could lead to the characters getting solo movies in Phase 4.

AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR – PART II is scheduled to open in 2019, so by then there should be at least one more season of each Netflix series, and Marvel is more than likely going to go big (like, really big) with the two-part Avengers movie. In other Marvel news, Bleeding Cool is also claiming that ABC's Agent Carter is "75% confirmed" for a second season.

What do you believe are Marvel's movie plans for The Defenders characters, and (if this rumor is true) how do you think they might be used in the second Infinity War film?

AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR – PART II will be in theaters on May 3, 2019.
