New Rise of the Apes trailer gives hope to ape-kind

You know, ask me in 2010, and I never would have said that the movie with the most effective marketing of this year would be RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES. A prequel sounded like typical Hollywood BS, but I have not seen a trailer for this movie that doesn’t seem insanely cool.

Here we have a new full length spot starring Ceaser, the chimp becoming self aware. His CGI gets better with age, and I have a hunch he’ll be a very engaging lead. Probably far more so than Franco.

This new trailer shows his rise to intelligence and his bonds with humans, and what drives him to start the great ape rebellion.
