New images show Green Lantern’s costume in head-to-toe detail

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

I’m probably more skeptical of GREEN LANTERN than I am CAPTAIN AMERICA, THOR or FIRST CLASS. As much as I love Ryan Reynolds, it’s a pretty out there origin story to transfer to film, and I don’t know how it’s going to play out.

But another source of concern for me is the costume, which is entirely CGI. I understand the concept of the costume being almost a living thing, but I’m a bit worried it’s going to look wonky on film, and from what I’ve seen in the trailer, it kind of does.

Now three new incredibly detailed images of the costume have been released. We see it in a few different poses, but not from behind, as presumably Reynold’s space ass would just be too much to handle. This thing is so form fitting, you can see his individual toes, so it’s no wonder the darkest part of the image is the crotch region.

What do you think of the costume?
