New featurette for Thor: The Dark World from Iron Man 3 blu-ray release

Marvel's Phase Two picks up in just over two months with THOR: THE DARK WORLD, which picks up where the Asgardian God left off in THE AVENGERS, dealing with his incarcerated brother, Loki, and long-distance girlfriend, Jane, while still trying to win approval from his father. Switch out the "godly" aspect and that story could fit just about any genre. To coincide with the release of IRON MAN 3 next month, a new featurette for the God of Thunder's next solo film, showing off a lot of behind-the-scenes footage interspersed with sound bites from the cast and crew. All cool stuff for those looking forward to another trip to the nine realms.

To Asgard!:

This sequel seems to be at a low hum for many in terms of buzz, but I don't see that as such a bad thing. I don't think THOR: THE DARK WORLD will do IRON MAN 3 business, but it's hard to expect that, really. Then again, never discount the power of fanboys or, in this instance, fangirls and the like who are more interested in Hemsworth's guns than his hammer. Or both. Eh, you know what I mean. To catch more of the special features from IRON MAN 3, pick up the disc on September 24th (preorder here!).
