Is anyone really excited about Ridley Scott's upcoming ALIEN: COVENANT? Especially after PROMETHEUS? Eh, there probably is. And, look the trailers look okay, I guess. The visuals are of course amazing…if you're willing to see the same imagery over-and-over again. I suppose there are worse things than a generic ALIEN sequel.
Speaking of trailers, here's a new TV spot with some extra footage:
Looks like every other trailer, except that scene at :21 of all those eggs dropping is new, right? If so, that was kind of intriguing I guess. And it's nice to see Danny McBride doing more serious roles (even though my assumption is he's still the ostensible "comic relief"). I'm grasping at straws here.
Meanwhile, ALIEN: COVENANT will do Alien stuff in theaters May 19th, 2017.
