2020 Paramount Pictures Preview

Last Updated on August 3, 2021

Paramount did not have a very good 2019. The iconic studio had no films cross the $100 million mark domestically (ROCKETMAN grossed $96 million) and their hope for a franchise resurgence with TERMINATOR: DARK FATE went up in flames. Reboots PET SEMATARY and WHAT MEN WANT failed to connect with audiences and GEMINI MAN turned out to be a colossal disappointment for all involved. Could 2020 bode better for Paramount? With the controversy surrounding the design of SONIC THE HEDGEHOG potentially boding poorly for that film, the studio will hope that sequels like A QUIET PLACE: PART II, TOP GUN: MAVERICK and COMING 2 AMERICA could turn their profits around.

Check out the full slate of films coming in 2020 from Paramount Pictures.
