Listen to a full track from the score for Pacific Rim featuring Rage Against the Machine’s Tom Morello

Pacific Rim

PACIFIC RIM will smash its way into theaters soon and even if audience interest isn't that high for the film right now I'm sure it'll be a lot of fun or at the very least a visual treat for the eyes. But what about our tender ears? Shouldn't they experience some pleasure as well?

The soundtrack for PACIFIC RIM was released yesterday and all the songs were written and composed by Ramin Djawadi, who created the scores for IRON MAN, CLASH OF THE TITANS and GAME OF THRONES. Djawadi worked with Rage Against the Machine's Tom Morello on the soundtrack and the result is a very rock 'n roll sounding score.

Rolling Stone debuted a full track from the score and you can check it out below. You can also head on over to Amazon and purchase the soundtrack or listen to samples of the other songs. Be careful though because some of the titles of the songs may spoil some of the events in PACIFIC RIM. Just a heads up.

Starring Charlie Hunnam, Idris Elba, Rinko Kikuchi, Charlie Day and Ron Perlman, PACIFIC RIM will be in theaters on July 12th, 2013.
