Guardians of the Galaxy get character posters; tickets go on sale tomorrow

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

In a little over one month's time, Marvel's GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2 will continue the team's adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos and fight to keep their newfound family together as they unravel the mysteries of Peter Quill's true parentage. The group is expanding and thanks to director James Gunn and friends, we have some brand-new character posters that show off Kurt Russell's Ego, Pom Klementieff's Mantis and more!

As you can see below, the posters keep in line with the design we've seen thus far with the series, which is retro! It works beautifully for the space opera and while there's little doubt VOL. 2 will bring in the big bucks, I think we're all approaching this one with cautious optimism, hoping it will live up the first film. Speaking of, if you're itching to pre-order your movie tickets, Vin Diesel was goodly enough to share the following information on his Facebook page: "My brother James wanted me to let you all know that you can purchase tickets tomorrow for this film's may release. Exciting!" Have your credit cards ready, friends!

GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2 will open in theaters on May 5, 2017.
