Jurassic World 2 gets an official title & teaser poster

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

Universal didn’t wait around long to greenlight a sequel to JURASSIC WORLD after it beat THE AVENGERS for the largest opening weekend ever in America, but it has taken them a solid two years to let the world know what the hell their sequel will be called. After calling it JURASSIC WORLD 2 for so long, we can now call it by its mighty, official name – JURASSIC WORLD: FALLEN KINGDOM.

To break in the new title Universal released a poster, which uses a rather iconic quote as its tagline:

The movie is being directed by J.A. Bayona (A MONSTER CALLS, THE IMPOSSIBLE), and will see the return of Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, with the very special return of Jeff Goldblum's Ian Malcom. The poster obviously isn't much, but now we have an actual title for the movie, and who knows, maybe some sort of mysterious teaser trailer is on the near horizon. I do love me some mysterious dinosaurs. But you know what's better? Dinosaurs that solve mysteries. Yeah, think about that.

JURASSIC WORLD: FALLEN KINGDOM arrives June 22, 2018.
