Juno Temple’s Dark Knight Rises role probably revealed

We know all the major heroes and villains that are appearing in THE DARK KNIGHT RISES at this point (unless Nolan is planning to spring the Riddler on us as a surprise), but a lot of the smaller parts are still a mystery.

We announced Juno Temple was joining the case back when we said Joseph Gordon-Levitt was, and though we know his now (a beat cop working under Gordon), we haven’t known hers. Well now we do. Probably.

Total Film has the info:

“Then there’s the big one-The Dark Knight Rises, where Temple plays “street smart Gotham gal” Holly Robinson. Speculation has it that her Holly is the young prostitute first seen in Frank Miller’s Batman: Year One, and that she may be the sidekick to Anne Hathaway’s Catwoman.”

But Temple won’t elaborate:

“I can’t talk about that. But I think it’s going to be [frick]ing unbelievable. [Nolan] is awesome! There’s something really gentlemanly about him. He’s got an insane, incredible vision going on. Just getting the opportunity to work with him is awesome.”

With Catwoman’s prominent role in the film, and the way Temple and Robinson share visual similarities, this would seem to be likely legit. Think the character will make a good addition to the Nolan Bat-verse?
