Is David Goyer being eyed to direct Justice League for WB?

AMC’s John Campea heard some interesting gossip today concerning JUSTICE LEAGUE:

So take this for what it’s worth, but a little bird just told me WB is moving on #JusticeLeague w Goyer possibly directing.

Hrmmmm…

While I don’t mind if Goyer writes, I do mind if he directs. He has yet to show that he is ready to helm something as big as an ensemble superhero film like JUSTICE LEAGUE. That’s not me being rude, that’s me being realistic. I think MAN OF STEEL will be a step in the right direction for DC comic films since Batman seems to be the only good thing they were turning out. Then again, this is JUST a rumor. So no need to get out the pitchforks at this time.
