First trailer for Piranha 3DD brings boobs, blood, and the Hoff

Not to be outdone by the release of Marvel’s THE AVENGERS trailer, Dimension films have unleashed the fury in the first trailer for PIRANHA 3DD, featuring just about everything you’d expect from a sequel with that title:

Bikinis, boobs, blood, The Hoff, more bikinis, piranhas, more boobs, Dr. Emmett Brown, boobs, piranhas, blood, cheesy 3D, Ving Rhames, Ving Rhames with machine gun legs, blood, and lastly, boobs:

I thought the first Piranha 3D was a hell of a lot of fun, never taking itself seriously and making ample use of what it was trying to sell; blood, gore, nudity, and cheese.  A great recipe for a nonsense horror flick.  It’s a few notches above a Troma movie in terms of budget, but not much by way of story.  That said, it’s a rollicking good time. 

Piranha 3DD is directed by John Gulager (FEAST) and stars Danielle Panabaker, Katrina Bowden, David Koechner, Ving Rhames, Christopher Lloyd, Allison Mack, and, oh yes…Gary Busey.

Piranha 3DD tosses the goods at you in 2D and 3DD on April 5th, 2012
