First Ralph Breaks the Internet reactions praise abundance of heart, humor

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

In 2012 WRECK-IT RALPH proved that just because is a bad guy doesn’t mean they’re a bad guy. Ralph (John C. Reilly) proceeded to wreck his way into our hearts with the adorable Vanellope von Schweetz (Sarah Silverman) by his side, and now the duo is back for more in RALPH BREAKS THE INTERNET. The sequel has a lot to live up to given how much people adore the original, and now the first batch of critics and journalists to see the movie are here to hint audiences may be mostly pleased by the results. The early reactions are saying this one has more than enough heart to spare and tons of laughs to go around, even if the first might have too high a score to top overall.

What with all the internet hoping and Disney references this was almost guaranteed to be an entertaining movie at the least and based on these reactions that’s probably what we’re going to get. Sure, it might not end be being as good as the first, but was anyone expecting it to be?

RALPH BREAKS THE INTERNET hits theaters November 21.
