Filming for Brad Bird's TOMORROWLAND just started, but YVR Shoots already has some behind the scenes images from the mysterious project. The pictures give us a first look at Hugh Laurie (sporting a shiny grey suit) and a set made to look like Disney's "it's a small world" from 1964. There are also pics of other sets, as well as actors and extras dressed in clothing from the time period.
TOMORROWLAND intrigues the hell out of me. The film looks like it will be something a little different and unique from Disney, which I support 100%. It's an interesting way for Disney to use its theme parks, and with Brad Bird helming the project and George Clooney as the lead, it's no wonder that people are hungry for more details on TOMORROWLAND.
Synopsis:
Bound by a shared destiny, a bright, optimistic teen bursting with scientific curiosity and a former boy-genius inventor jaded by disillusionment embark on a danger-filled mission to unearth the secrets of an enigmatic place somewhere in time and space that exists in their collective memory as “Tomorrowland.”
TOMORROWLAND is scheduled to hit theaters on December 12th, 2014.
