Now that Marvel's Daredevil series has been met with some great critical response, I think audiences may be a little more excited for the next Marvel show that's set to hit later this year, A.K.A. Jessica Jones. Starring Krysten Ritter as the titular Jones, the story starts after her brief superhero stint gone wrong, as she attempts to rebuild her life as a private eye, dealing with cases involving people with remarkable abilities in New York City. One such person is that of Luke Cage (Mike Colter), who'll receive his own show sometime down the road. We're getting ahead of ourselves, though. Here's some pictures featuring a few of the stars. Worthy of note is David Tenant's Purple Man, while not showcasing the purple skin he's famous for (yet), does sport a few recognizable hues in his wardrobe.

Daredevil pretty much lived up to it's premise, so I'm curious to see what audiences will think of these other shows before all of the characters join up AVENGERS-style in The Defenders. At the very least, this should tie over fans who are waiting for the next Marvel movie to hit theater screens. At most, Marvel is completely changing the game on how comic books are brought to the small screen. Either way, we win!

A.K.A. Jessica Jones will arrive on Netflix late 2015.
