Bradley Cooper and Renee Zellweger try to protect an evil child in this trailer for Case 39

CASE 39 is finally releasing in the US! Are you excited? Are you ready to experience the place where love first bloomed for Renee Zellweger and Bradley Cooper? Sure you are!

This film has spend a fair amount of time waiting to be released here in the states. Filming started on this thing back in 2006 it was supposed to come out in 2008, but stayed in the dusty hells of the Paramount shelves. Why did this thing stay hidden for so long? Is it terrible? Eh…I’ll let you be the judge. I guess they are hoping that by releasing it on October 1st that perhaps it will draw in the Halloween crowd looking for a few spooks. Maybe they should of just let it to straight to DVD?

Check out the trailer and “creepy” poster below.

Official Synopsis:

“In CASE 39, family services social worker Emily Jenkins (Renée Zellweger) thinks she has seen it all… until she meets 10-year old Lilith Sullivan (Jodelle Ferland) and the child’s cruel and dangerous parents. Her worst fears are confirmed when the parents try to harm Lily, their only daughter. Frightened for her life, Emily enlists the help of Detective Mike Barron (Ian McShane) and takes Lily in while she continues the search for the perfect foster family. Just as it seems as though Lily is on her way to a more loving home, under the guidance of Emily and psychiatrist (Bradley Cooper), dark forces surrounding this young girl come to light and, little do they know, their attempts to protect her will only bring on greater horror…”
