Batman takes on Pennywise in fan-made trailer

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Batman has spent decades taking on the Clown Prince of Crime – The Joker – in many different iterations and forms, with Bats usually coming out on top. But what if he fought against a whole different kind of clown – one who lived in the sewers and fed on the fear and flesh of children: Pennywise from IT. He’d have to deal with slightly greater challenges than the occasional laughing gas bomb. But the battle wouldn’t be easy for Pennywise either, as Batman has made fear a weapon and not a hindrance.

Basically, it’s the greatest battle we could ever imagine, and sadly we’re never going to get it. Thankfully the folks at Adeel of Steel have meshed together scenes from BATMAN V. SUPERMAN and the IT trailer to create a seamless and perfectly timed trailer for BATMAN V. IT. Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) even has a line about fighting men dressed like clowns! How perfect is this?!
