JUDGE NOT, WANKERS
There's a shitload of things the bible is for and against. Don't be like Bush and cherry-pick (abortion = bad, executing the mentally handicapped = good). A sin is a sin is a sin. if you ever lied then your just a bad as a guy who boned a guy. I don't know the rules of the bible and i don't give a hoot. free will baby. WHOO HOO!
And just cause the dude is "big boned" doesnt mean he has to docu it. go rent supersize if you want to know how all that fat got between your ears. |

BLACK INDEED
Moore slams the right constantly yet he uses the same irresponsible methods they do to get his point across. It goes both ways. |

PREACH!
Keep calling the kettle black and lets all take our private jets to Dharfur and pass out bottled water in non-recycable plastic bottles to the starving. Why can't you all do this too you damn common folk with real jobs?
Rant is done.

The Old Testament states "Eye for an eye" and the New Testament says "Vengeance is mine, sayeth the Lord." So saying that nothing was change from the Old to the New isn't totally correct. There were some changes made, perhaps in the spirit of being better people (can't have everyone seeking vengeance...lol). But I agree with the rest of what you say, FilmSausage.. it isn't our place to judge. Never was. |

I DIDN'T KNOW MOORE WAS SO FAMILAR...
I didn't realize that Moore read the Bible, and had a better knowledge of it than Christians (minor sarcasm). I am a self proclaimed "Holy-Roller", but I still get annoyed with Religious people, (you know, Santa Claus instead of Jesus, an Easter Bunny instead of Jesus, etc..). While Jesus says nothing about homosexuals, he does say that he does not change anything in the law of the Old Covenant. In Corinthians Paul writes about what was nailed to the cross, and it is mostly blood sacrifeces (animal, circumsiscion, etc..) and ordiances.
The New Covenant also takes a stance of homosexuality, in several places such at Timothy and Jude. But since this is not Sunday School, I'll stop now.
The bottom line is, as Christians we should not judge people, only God is the judge. While the bibile may say homosexuality is wrong, it is a sin to say that Gay people go to hell. Everyone has free will, and God will decide in the end (or Allah, or natural selection, or whatever you believe).
I just hope ole' Mikey doesn't use the old "Conservative Christians are redneck racists that kill animals for fun" and maybe show Christians that don't judge people. (Interview me Michael!) |

SHUT UP AND SQUEAL
Jesus also didn't mention grown men shouln't have sex with animals and children. Does that make it right? He didn't have to say anything about gays because it was written in the Old Testament (a book he knew a little something about). I wish people who don't know what they are talking about would just leave religion alone. |

I don't care about whatever anyone else says. Moore makes great documentaries. And I think he carefully picks topics no one else would be willing to explore. |

I have loved every film Michael has made and I am sure I will love this one. Some may not like the way he sticks to one viewpoint, but the accusation that he is somehow trying to sway people by making his films with a singular viewpoint is a mistake.
I see him as a person with a camera and an opinion, and he's not afraid to voice his opinion. no one is forced to believe what he says or thinks. granted, i find many of his opinions kindred, but not necessarily all of them. i thought he was reaching a bit with some of the points he was trying to make in 911, but i was certainly down with the overall message of that film.
i respect him for standing firm on what he believes and translating those beliefs to his actions on film and off. he is a showman, but you kind of have to be if you're making films. he is also a real person who wants to see things change in a specific direction for his country. i admire that.
