The CGI-animated series Monster High, which is based on the fashion doll franchise from Mattel, made its debut on Nickelodeon last month, and on the episode of Monster High that airs today (Tuesday, November 29th), a new character is going to be introduced: Ghoulia Yelps, voiced by Felicia Day (Mystery Science Theater 3000)! In anticipation of Ghoulia’s Monster High debut, we’re proud to share an EXCLUSIVE clip from the show that gives a preview of what Ghoulia will be up to in this episode. Check it out in the embed above!

Monster High follows the children of various monsters, such as Frankenstein, Dracula, and the Werewolf. The main characters the show focuses on are Clawdeen Wolf, Draculaura and Frankie Stein as they navigate the hilarity of high school in the hallowed halls of Monster High.

Ghoulia Yelps makes her first appearance in the episode titled That Thing You Deuce. In this one, Deuce overworks himself to win a fundraiser, accidentally turning other students into rock candy treats.

Ghoulia Yelps herself is described as being “curious, clever, and with ultra-fast fingers. Ghoulia is a zombie and the top gamer at Monster High.” Felicia Day had this to say about her character: “Ghoulia is adorably geeky and so much fun to play. I can’t be more excited to be part of the Monster High universe.”

Brand new episodes of Monster High air daily at 5:00pm (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon. Nickelodeon and Mattel Television have announced that Monster High has been already renewed for a second season of 20 episodes. The show will launch later this month in Australia on Nickelodeon and Paramount+. It will roll out in additional international territories in 2023.
