This is a horrific idea. Thankfully, this is before George has told Harrison or Steven the idea. I hope to god they reject this shitty idea. No wonder the Star Wars trilogy was going downhill. I hope the same doesn't befall Indy. I honestly believe the day Harrison Ford dies, Indiana Jones dies. There's no one else that should be Indy in a main Indiana Jones movie. |

Harrison Ford IS indiana jones. No one else should play him. Young indy the show sucked so much because no one else should portray an iconic character established so well by ford. I like shia, but the whole son-spinoff thing sounds awful. Who wants to see an indy type movie set in a time period like the 1960's or 70's. Is he gonna be fighting the Vietnemese next, or hippies? Terrible Idea. Indy 4 will hopefully end on a high note, and they can let the franchise end for good. |

You know why he rejected the script, probably because it finalised everything and ended the franchise on a massively high note. This meant there was no way he could keep the franchise going, if Spielberg still drops by Joblo every once in a while then for christ's sake I hope he sees this |

First I hate George Lucas.
Second, WTF is up with these stories. I remember reading the same kind of story for Die Hard 5 and Rambo 5 just prior to the release of the next installment, but where are the stories saying they actually greenlit these movies? I can't find them, and as a huge Die Hard fan, I have looked high and low for confirmation.
Now about the article. It is a shame that George Lucas is involved with this. Star Wars is gay because of him now, and it looks like the same will happen to Indy. Why does Steven Spielberg even want to be friends with him anymore? He didn't get final say over the script or the title, which in the case of the both sucks because I have a feeling the supernatural part of this installment will be overplayed to high extreme. The title, well I guess that its about a crystall skull and its found in a kingdom.
Also, the traiers. Most of my friends gave a tepid to lukewarm response to all of them, saying it just doesn't seem incredible enough. So I wonder if George suggested the whole, little to no plot in trailers idea, which I am all for, but doesn't sell a film.
In short, Hollywood, You really need to kick George in the balls and then shove his ass out of the movie idustry, this past decade he has caused more harm then good.
I will definatly see Indiana Jones Opening night with a shit ton of concessions, but if this movie sucks, the only reason it will have made any money at all will be because of all the prebought tickets from eveyone else. |
