The action thriller KILLSHOT has all the makings of a bad ass flick – it’s directed by John Madden and stars Mickey Rourke and Joseph Gordon-Levitt as hitmen who hunt down Diane Lane and Thomas Jane after they witness one if Rourke’s hits and are placed in witness protection. Yet there’s no excitement because The Weinstein Company’s business strategy involves making movies, not actually releasing them so KILLSHOT, which was supposed to be released two years ago will be released January 23rd.
